Specimen and documentation

Fidelity Prestige: Pre-Budapest, Budapest and Glasgow

Three Prestige computers preserved together in the collection, documented by the collector as three different program versions.

Reading this record

The historical filenames containing “PrestigeGlasgow” describe this combined photographic set and do not identify every photographed unit as Glasgow. Each computer can be followed across the group and individual views by its wood grain, but the program-version assignment still requires specimen-level confirmation. No visible serial numbers are added.

Technical sources and tournament history

Championship clarification. At Budapest 1983, the winning entrant was Elite Auto Sensory; Prestige Challenger was a separate entrant, fifth with 4½/7. At Glasgow 1984, four programs shared the title. These results concern tournament programs and do not identify the EPROM in any of the three collection specimens. Budapest results and games · Glasgow results and games.

Reviewed additions are separate from the original collector’s dated notes below or above. Program history is not proof that this physical specimen competed.
